Khed Mela 2009
- PSCA of Michigan is hosting 2nd Khed Mela on July 11th (Saturday) at Independence Park Canton. This event will start after Ardas at 8AM. Please be there on time.
- This will be a family event. You can join the crowd of thousands people with your family. Security is hired. Check out pictures of last year Khed Mela.
- Tea and snacks will be served in the morning. Free lunch will be provided in the afternoon. Also fruits and kids snacks will be available. Beside this, there will be food stalls serving goal Gappe, chat papri etc. and Ice cream truck will be there in the parking lot for frozen snacks.
- Athletics and Volleyball matches will start after Ardas and short opening speech.
- Soccer and under 18 Kabaddi matches will start around 9:30AM.
- Professional Kabaddi teams are coming from Toronto, New York, Chicago & Milwaukee. Also well known commentator sukhcahin Brar will do commentary for kabaddi matches.
- Well known singer Sukhwinder Pancchi will be performing with musicians.

Kabaddi 'A' Teams are coming from New York, Chicago, Milwaukee, Toronto, and Michigan.

'A' teams will be competing for 1st prize:$1200 and second prize: $800.
|
|
|
Kabaddi 'B' Team (under 18) matches will start around 9:30 am and will be completed before noon.There will be approximately 2~4 teams.
|

|

Athletics |
|

We will also display the athletic schedule at administartion table and one near food area.
|
|
|
You must download the waiver form, fill it and bring it with you on July 11th. Submit your waiver form at administration table to get your wrist band.
|
|
|
All athletics events will start after Ardas and Opening speech. You must be present at the park before 8:30AM.

|
|
This year it will be worth to watch volleyball matches because all teams are working very hard to win the championship.
|
|
|
There will be 7~10 Volleyball teams competing for 1st: $600 and 2nd: $400 prize.
|
|
|
2~3 volleyball nets will be available to cover all matches.
|
|
|
Volleyball matches will start early in the morning. All volleyball teams must be present at the Park before 8:30AM.
